We're leaving for London tomorrow morning. It seems like the photo-upload isn't working here on the blog, so I guess I'll just say goodbye so long and then I will compensate with bunches of photos when I come back. You can always write something nice here while I'm away.

Preparing for London... One week left!

In 13 (13!!!!!) days, I'm going to london with my sister. We'll be there for a week and we need all the tips we can get from you who live there or have been there. What do you have to do or visit when you're in london? The only thing we have planned on is visiting as many markets as possible, shop fabrics on Goldhawk road and visit covent garden.

I wanna know all your favourite second-hand stores and flea markets, restaurants and coffeehouses and all the hidden secret parts of London!

I'm sooo excited about the trip, it's gonna be the first time for me travelling without my parents and I think it will be great!

I've made an elephant bracelet and I've some exciting things going on ahead.

lot's of fun

There are a lot of fun stuff happening in my life right now.

• I'm in my third and last year of high school.
• Yesterday night I was at a fashion show where some of my friends were models. It was great!
  
• I'm planning and sketching on my first collection ever, one for spring / summer 2011. It's gonna be great. And it's so much fun!
  
• Monday next week I am going to a huge fabric store with my class to shop fabrics for the collection, ooh I can't wait!
• As a projekt work for school, me and two classmates will collect children clothes that people doesn't need. And then we're gonna hire a big car and go to a poor orphanage somewhere in another country and give all the clothes to them. Can't wait for that either, it's gonna be so interesting!

I was agog and happy before the show.

Why doesn't I get comments anymore?.. Did I lose all my (like five) readers when I didn't write for a while? It feels so empty without getting feedback ;)

I made this skirt for my sister from a fabric I bought second hand (as usual :)). I always think of a circus when I see it, so I call it the circus-skirt.

Now I'm gonna make some jewellery in front of the tv.

And, just that you know, from now on I will update the blog more often!

embroided friday

This is my new darling. An embroided piece of art.

It was only 80 SEK~ 8,5 EURO ~ 7 GBP! It's so cheap I almost was ashamed when I bought it. There must've been so much work embroidering the whole dress.

But I couldn't resist it.

Sorry for the lack of posts here lately, but I've been busy moving back to my apartment and starting the third and last year of school. My sister has moved in with me too, and we have so much fun together decorating the apartment! It's not close to ready yet but here are a few details from the kitchen:

Minimarket is a swedish clothing label that I LOVE! They include everything I love in their designs and the result can't be anything else than absolutely adorable. And just have a look at these lovely pics! Love.

Barcelona blues

I love this necklace that I and my sister bought at a flea market a couple of weeks ago. Anna (my sister) remaked it by adding the golden chain instead of the leather string that was there before.

I finished my summer job yesterday, yay! But the best thing is that I probably have a job next summer too. In Barcelona!! There is this family I met yesterday that lives there and next summer they needed a nursemaid for their children. So they asked me if I wanted the job and come and live with them. I'm so happy! There's just one small problem; the kids only speak spanish, and my spanish vocabulary is very limited. But the mum said that that wasn't going to be a problem since she wanted the children to learn some english. So I guess it's not a problem. At least not a problem big enough to stop me from taking the job. They will only need help in the afternoon, so maybe I can take a spanish course or something in the mornings. I'm really excited about this!

Jump jump jump

Another oldie since I still haven't taken any photos of my new garment. I think this jumpsuit is the best thing I've ever made, I'm really proud of it! I's made out of some lightweight denim I found at a second hand store, so it was really cheap too.

I stop working on thursday, so then the blog will probably be updated more often!

Now at last

Last weekend my mum, sister and I was out on a flea market-round, and the main thing I'm always looking for at flea markets is fabrics and this time I found these three different fabrics that I purchased. And me and my sister also bought two necklaces that I'll show you some other day!
