Coral dress remake

This is a dress remake I made a long time ago. I thought I'd already posted it here, but apparently I hadn't.. I bought the dress in a thrift store just to kill it and make it into a new dress.

How I wish it could be spring! I want to be able to go outside the door in a denim jacket and sneakers without getting frozen to death. Or at least I want to be able to put my nose outside the door without getting frozen to death. That'd be something.

Finally

I'm finally sewing again!

But I need help, I'm not used to sew in stretch fabric, so I don't know how to finish the neckline. It's some kind of medium-weight(?) knitted fabric. Does anybody know? Should I attach a bias tape? I want to finish it now now now!!

Piano keys

This is my absolute favorite necklace. A long time ago I saw a piano necklace somewhere, and I said to my sister that I wanted it. And guess what, she made me this! and it's even better than the one I saw. I've said it before and I'll say it again, she's the best. :)

the dance-skirt

In this blog, lack of creativity = lack of posts. I'm sorry. So thats why I havent written in a long time, I haven't made anything that I could show here. But now! The other night I made a skirt for Anna. It took me about an hour to finish it, and that says a lot about how complicated it is ;) It's pretty much two rectangles sewn together and gathered with an elastic waistband. I used one of the fabrics I bought in London.

Art

Yesterday we finally put up these pictures on the wall. I got them for christmas from my sister who has made them herself. She's the best! We used pant-hangers to put them on the wall.
